But, they are worth talking about. So many interesting things go on with spiders, both in the real world and in fictional ones, that it's hard to just ignore them. Tolkien wrote about them, a lot. And Gygax may, or may not (because it was never legally proven) have 'borrowed' from him for Dungeons & Dragons.
