Gloves
We don't think much about gloves unless it's cold outside or there is work to be done. We certainly hardly ever think of them as status items.
But that's just what they have been for hundreds, maybe thousands, of years. From Egypt, to Greece and into more modern times, they've allowed the highborn and refined to impress everyone else. And then there came a pair of gloves that were used as evidence of a crime.
